Cabin Fever 04:19
I thought I saw you're shadow on the wall it looked just like a ghost but I don't believe in ghost I'll stand outside and enjoy the fresh air but it is the days' last cigarette so I'll step back inside your dirty clothes are still left on the floor and your plants are without water and your coat still by the door sometimes I wonder, I wonder where you were when I needed you last night and the many nights before oh marble castle, empty home oh wooden ship where do you roam? I won't try to deny you your own I thought I heard your keys at the door your footsteps on the porch, the voice that I adore but it's too late, the time has passed the memory's getting old now, your life was gone too fast I still sleep on my side of the bed I lay next to your pillow and rest my weary head oh I'll never forget when we thought we'd never grow old but now look at what's left oh marble castle, empty home oh wooden ship where do you roam? I won't try to deny you your own oh marble castle, empty home oh wooden ship where do you roam? I won't try to deny you your own

I never almost forgot how to breathe you had me on my hands and knees When I saw you walk in through that door God himself couldn't tell me what I was in for Oh mama get me out of here I was stuck like a deer in the headlights and if I'm saved now then I might leave this place calm and clear I never asked for drowning lessons you left me in poor condition I'm just hoping to stay afloat yeah I'm just trying to learn how to float Oh mama get me out of here I was stuck like a deer in the headlights and if I'm saved now then I might leave this place calm and clear

White Castle 03:56
Mr. Morning Sun how you look so young thank you for the hummingbirds who sing their song In the afternoon when your skies are shaded orange and blue and all I feel is gratitude Mrs. Moon, my love floating high above the great, big world and you kiss the sun on its' way up once the night has turned It's such a beautiful world it's such a beautiful sun up in the sky and all the planets do a beautiful twirl it's such a beautiful thing to be alive Where the mountains end and the sky begins I see heaven in the far with all my friends And the clouds up high looking fine and fun and maybe absurd but I'll turn your clouds into whatever I prefer It's such a beautiful world it's such a beautiful sun up in the sky and all the planets do a beautiful twirl it's such a beautiful thing to be alive

about

I originally released these four songs along with the other songs included on Sunday but decided it would be better to shorten the album to only include the songs I felt stood out the best. A couple of songs on this B-side collection are still some of my favorites to have recorded, but I felt they would fit better as a short EP.
