Green Eyes 03:16
Maybe I may, hit the highway Just to go places I've never been Until then, we're still friends Until the end, your love's all I need Your love is all that I need Like a fish needs the sea Meanwhile just look at me with your green eyes Green eyes Sun or high rain, we'll meet again Like old friends, babe it won't be long And we'll stop just to talk And catch up 'cause your love's all I need Your love is all that I need Like a fish needs the sea Meanwhile just look at me with your green eyes Green eyes But it's not like the movies Soon I'll just be someone you used to know Used to know, used to know Your love is all that I need Like a fish needs the sea Meanwhile just look at me with your green eyes

You've got the moves and I want them too Come on baby it's electric blue You've got the rhythm in my head Come on baby it's swirly red And I see you're on your back again But you don't seem to mind There's not enough minutes in a day For everything that I want to say So don't leave yet You disappeared and were never seen Somewhere into that invisible green And all I wanted was to say hello The shades of yellow you'll never know And I see you're on your back again But you don't seem to mind There's not enough minutes in a day For everything that I want to say So don't leave yet

Well I'm leaving to Memphis But my train don't leave 'til 15 to 6 I've got 3 hours to spend on you So let's do something that I've always wanted to And there's no time to rest your weary head Let's paint the town C'mon baby let's paint the town red And it was good to have you here I just thought I'd like to make that clear And I think we should definitely meet up once again Oh girl let's be more than friends And there's no time to rest your weary head Let's paint the town C'mon baby let's paint the town red Let's paint the town red There's no time to rest your weary head Let's paint the town a beautiful and brightly colored shade of red

Untitled 04:55
I've got this crazy idea in my head About the things I could have never said But it's okay I know that you meant well It's just sometimes it gets pretty hard to tell Sometimes I wish that we never met You're not somebody I could easily forget Holding on to something I've never had You know how to make a desperate man But now you've got me all in a row It ain't funny but it just goes to show That I need you more than you need me Now tell me, ain't that funny I still remember leaves falling from the trees You and me sitting in a warm, subtle breeze The sun, it shines and falls down upon us No need to worry, it's summertime But now you've got me all in a row It ain't funny but it just goes to show That I need you more than you need me Now tell me, ain't that funny But don't cry poor girl, don't you cry You'll never know the reasons why I do the things that I do when I'm around you And all that I wanted to say was...

about

Revival is an EP that features old songs from different music projects that date back to high school. Most of them had been recorded before, but never quite came out as desired. My goal when re-recording these songs for Revival was to experiment with different recording techniques and try to come up with something that was unique.

credits

released February 17, 2017

Thanks to David Lopez for playing bass on all the songs, Danny Granadeno for programming drums on Green Eyes, Christian Gurrola for playing drums on all other songs, and Icy Drew for providing a studio to record in.
