Mother Earth 01:35
I found a reason To hang on by the skin of my teeth Don't you get it? Don't you get that sinking feeling too? My mother earth I'll be the dirt I'll be the grass beneath your feet And I will follow Oh yeah I will be your shadow

Hand-Drawn 04:50
I only wish, for you, safe travels From meadows to forgotten shores And when you reach the end I hope the world will give you more The Eastern Winds are always blowing And in my mirror you are hand-drawn All of you and all of me Put me in a box and ship me out to sea I will not wait, I'll see you 'round Do what you want, say what you mean to say I will not wait, I'll see you 'round Do what you want, say what you mean to say Hurry don't be late, feet on the ground now Go where you please, but please don't stay But it seems that we're getting older now It was always meant to happen somehow But who'd've thought it happen like this?

Honey 05:11
If love is real, then I've seen it's face In the summersault eyes of a newborn child You're skin is honey and I want a taste So let's stay the night in and lay here a while Put a stick to the sand and we'll draw a line That we dare not cross until the morn' I want the work and the fault to be mine Throw a log in the fire to keep us warm Oh, what a web that we weave You'll find comfort in the morning Oh, what were you expecting from me? All restless, broke, and concerning Together we'll find hope in a new place Through sea-salt we'll grow like plants in the wild We'll watch as the raindrops trace lines on our face As we stand reconciled, still-framed, center aisle Your skin is honey and I want a taste Embrace me and turn my water to wine I'll find a way to breakthrough to you Pack up and leave our problems behind Oh, what a web that we weave You'll find comfort in the morning Oh, what were you expecting from me? All restless, broke, and concerning

This Time 05:56
What should we do? And where should we go? We'll find a place to call our very own Let's take a walk It's alright we don't have to talk that much It's such a beautiful day to wonder what we're doing here Who should we be? Let's leave it 'til tomorrow to find out Meanwhile we'll pretend to act as if we've got better things to do I'll be the tongue-tied And you can be the quiet type And we'll find a way to communicate Oh no I've been found out Here we go this time

about

I recorded this EP as an attempt to further my song-writing and experiment with new recording techniques. I wanted to make songs that have many layers of sounds and textures where something new is heard with each listen. I am happy to share the result which I think captures the somber tone of my writing well, and provides a sonic psychedelic experience.
